Payee offers three professional terminals: the PayNuts Pulse (PAX A910S) — a powerful Android terminal with a 700+ POS integrations and an A53 Quad-Core processor; the VeriFone T650p — a slim portable terminal with dual built-in SIM cards; and the PAX A77 — a compact smartphone-sized mobile terminal. All support No Cost and Low Cost EFTPOS pricing options.
With No Cost EFTPOS, transaction fees are automatically surcharged to the customer — you pay $0 in merchant fees. Terminal rental is also waived for businesses processing $10,000+/month. With Low Cost EFTPOS, you absorb the fee at a competitive rate from 0.79% incl. GST and terminal rental from $29/month. Low Cost is also the smart long-term option given the proposed RBA surcharge ban from 1 July 2026.
No. All Payee terminals connect via 4G SIM and WiFi — no fixed phone line required. A SIM is included free. The VeriFone T650p includes dual built-in SIMs for maximum coverage. All terminals can also operate via standalone WiFi only if preferred.
The PayNuts Pulse (PAX A910S) integrates with 700+ point-of-sale systems, making it Payee’s most POS-compatible terminal. The VeriFone T650p and PAX A77 both support 350+ POS integrations. Call 1800 357 911 to confirm compatibility with your specific POS system before you commit.
Yes — you can mix and match any combination of countertop and mobile terminals across your business. All terminals are managed through the same merchant portal and settled into the same Australian bank account. You can add or remove terminals as your business grows, with no lock-in.
All Payee terminals accept Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos, American Express, UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay and Zip Pay. Tap, chip, swipe and NFC contactless are all supported.
No lock-in contracts, no exit fees and no cancellation fees. You can terminate with 30 days’ notice. Monthly terminal rental fees are not refunded or pro-rated for the notice period. Terms and conditions apply including minimum eligibility criteria on some plans.

- Additional requirements apply for AMEX and JCB cards, including a merchant agreement directly with each scheme. For UnionPay, additional eligibility criteria applies.
- No terminal rental applies for No Cost EFTPOS merchants processing $10,000+ per month. For merchants below this threshold, terminal rental from $29/month applies. Terms and conditions apply.
- Merchants may terminate the Agreement on 30 days’ notice. Monthly Terminal Rental Fees will not be refunded or pro-rated for the notice period.
- Settlement times are subject to terms and conditions. Same-day settlement available for qualifying accounts on transactions processed before 9pm AEST. For Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, settlement proceeds generally available three business days after processing.
